Our Mission... To Turn Dresses Into Dreams
Cinderella's Closet provides formal wear to girls who could not otherwise afford to attend their prom. Through donations of new and gently used formal dresses and accessories, we are able to "Turn Dresses Into Dreams" for juniors and seniors referred to our organization by their school, community organization or social care agency. Even more than a dress, Cinderella's Closet provides an unforgettable, amazing experience. From the moment our princesses dance through our doors they are greeted with an environment of grace, love and respect. It is our mission that they leave knowing they are cherished.
Each Cinderella's Closet location is a ministry of their local church. Each is founded on the belief that providing formalwear is simply a way to show God's extrodinary love to some amazing young women and men.
Cinderella's Closet is open for one weekend each spring at each of the following locations:
Northern Kentucky- Immanuel United Methodist Church, Lakeside Park, KY - March 23 & 24, 2012
Central Kentucky- First United Methodist Church, Frankfort, KY - March 3, 2012
Humboldt County California- First United Methodist Church Eureka, Eureka, CA- 2012 Date TBD
Kansas Central Region- Fort Riley, KS - February 24th and 25th
Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana- Lake Charles, LA - 2012 Date TBD
Greater Triangle Area North Carolina- Christ United Methodist Church, Chapel Hill, NC - March 23 and 24, 2012
Southwest Ohio- Vineyard Community Church, Cincinnati, OH - 2012 Date TBD
